Pool tips
SPRING AND SUMMER
Here are some important tips to protect your pool and equipment in the warmer months.
CLEANING
With Spring comes the leaves dropping or blowing into your pool. It’s important
to remove leaves and other debris from your pool that may clog your filtration
system or produce algae.
FILTER CLEANING
Filters are an essential component to maintaining a healthy pool. Filters are designed to remove unwanted dirt, leaves, debris, calcium, and oils from your pool. Cleaning your filters every 4-6 months will increase your pool's equipment lifespan and protect against disease causing bacteria and germs.
If you begin to have blowback into your pool or your filter pressure is above 30, it's essential you get the filter cleaned at once.
SALT CELL CLEANING
It is also important to maintain a clean salt cell so that chlorine can be
continuously produced. This cleaning should be done every change of season
to protect the system.
CHEMICALS
With the change in temperature, debris, and rain, it's important that your pool
has the proper chemistry. A balanced pool will help protect your pool surface
and equipment.
